Attractive, locally owned salon, great styles for men and women.

Briana does a great job on my hair. The place is clean and the people are very friendly.

Celia is awesome!

Rena is super hair stylist

Friendly till its their fault. Then it's YOUR fault. Anyone with any experience having their hair colored knows that sometimes things go wrong. Stylists are just people with a certain expertise most don't have. Its important for both client and stylist to work together for the best outcome. After all, it is a relationship building process or should be. My stylist was friendly and seemed caring until money exchanged hands, even though I expressed how unhappy I was. She was in too big a hurry to listen, much less fix it, and was racing the clock to get out by 5. I have a job where lives depend on whether I'm credible or not. What I went home with is unspeakable and I could not go to work for 2 weeks until I could find someone to fix it. They were apalled. There was little TO fix!! I got a wig. I had called 3 times and asked her to fix it and she was always too busy to commit to a fix time. Instead, she said she would call me WHEN she had an opening, which turned out to be never. Look up the criteria for "sociopath" in the DSM. This woman may own the place, but that should be the very reason to act with excellence!! It reflects on every other stylist in the there who isn't like that! I am so weary of arrogant, dilitante, narcissistic, prima dona hairdressers who think that getting out of the trailer park and going to a 40 year reunion is the pinnacle of success. And that's no reflection on getting a HS diploma OR living in a mobile home- I'm talking about attitude, characer and vision! Yes, the salon is clean. Yes, she was friendly. BUT the true measure of character is what you do and how you treat people when you know you're in the wrong and that you have wronged them. 5 stars for clean and friendly. ZERO stars for integrity and character. I want nothing to do with that type of person or business. I thought I had finally found all that in Debbie at Aravon Salon. Don't know the rest of them, but all I met smiled and seemed friendly and were helpful on the phone. Keep in mind no one is too big to fail and it's satisfied customers who keep any business going. Perhaps they think they're the exception. Let's ask Lehman Brothers, Enron et.al. Get over your emotional disconnect with the world and maybe focus on making life better, not worse, for others. God knows its a dismal world and sometimes just a new "do" can make all the difference! Conversely, can you really know how I felt pulling clumps of cotton-candy hair out by the handfuls at home knowing there was NOTHING-- NO THING which this salon was going to do about it. Debbie, you've only succeeded in victimizing someone who trusted you. The good news is that eventually the hair you caused to fall out WILL grow back. Sadly, your salon will be just another mediocre bunch of run-of-the- mill liars who think more highly of themselves than they ought. In the meantime, maybe Debbie could just embrace some old-fashioned values like customer service and the fostering of customer loyalty. Maybe work on being authentic and not fake. Failing that or if its too much effort, get a therapist. Because remember dear, what you reap will come directly from what you've sown and how you've sown it. I'm truly sorry I cannot rave about what I thought was my good fortune to have found. Right now, I'm just wanting not to have to wear a wig, which I will have to do to go to work. Shame on them!
