I have degenerative disk disease and he made me feel like a drug addict for needing tramadol that is prescribed to me to help with pain. I had just had a benign neurofibroma removed from my back and he said it was infected with MRSA. I got a 2nd opinion from the physician who performed the surgery and his first statement was "Please tell me your not going back to him." So not only does he assume if you need pain medication that you are a drug addict he also misdiagnosed me. I will never go back.
I cannot say enough to say thank you to Dr Christopher Klotz. I remember years back going from doctor to doctor and numerous specialist trying to figure out WHY the heck was I getting so sick and in so much pain. Over and over having some doctors tell me it was stress related. I suffer from several health issues like Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Mental Cognitive Disorder, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, among several other and all related directly to Gulf War Illness.
This was the first doctor to ever sit down and actually look at my active duty medical records & tried to figure out what was going on with me. In other words, not just treat the symptoms, but actually investigate why.
There are NOT enough stars I can give this doctor.
One thing I have learned about medical professional is 1) Just because they have a PhD or even 5 of them, they do NOT know everything. 2) We the patient must become our own advocates & research what we have & why we are so ill. Almost NONE of the doctors will do that for you. After all you are just $$$ to them.
